Oktoberfest takes place at Theresienwiese in central Munich, in the Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt district. The festival grounds include beer tents, food stalls, fairground attractions, traditional events and the historic Oide Wiesn in the southern part of the site. Theresienwiese has been the home of Oktoberfest for more than 200 years.
