The UN Climate Change Conference — COP32 will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 8 to 19 November 2027. The conference forms part of the international climate negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
COP32 will bring together governments and accredited participants from across the world for negotiations, policy discussions, cooperation and engagement on climate change and the implementation of international climate commitments.
The 2027 conference period includes the thirty-second session of the Conference of the Parties (COP32), together with the corresponding sessions of the governing bodies serving the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement.
The UNFCCC's adopted decision confirms that Ethiopia will host these sessions in Addis Ababa from Monday, 8 November through Friday, 19 November 2027.
COP conferences provide a global forum for Parties to discuss climate policy, international cooperation and implementation of commitments under the UN climate regime.
COP32 will form part of the continuing international process addressing climate change, adaptation, mitigation, climate finance, technology, capacity-building and other areas of cooperation as determined by the official agenda and negotiating process.
Participation in UNFCCC sessions is governed by the Convention's participation and accreditation procedures. Parties, United Nations and related organizations, media and admitted observer organizations may participate according to the applicable UNFCCC rules and registration arrangements.
Detailed information concerning participant registration, nomination deadlines, accreditation, badges and access arrangements for COP32 will be published by the UNFCCC when the relevant procedures open.
The detailed COP32 agenda, daily programme, meeting rooms, side events, exhibits and other programme information will be published through the official UNFCCC channels as preparations progress.

The UNFCCC has confirmed that the Government of Ethiopia will host the thirty-second session of the Conference of the Parties, together with the corresponding Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement sessions, in Addis Ababa from 8 to 19 November 2027.
