 ly 2027 will bring representatives of WHO Member States and other particip
 ating stakeholders together in Geneva\, Switzerland\, from 23–30 May 2027.
 \nThe Eightieth World Health Assembly is the annual decision-making meetin
 g of the World Health Organization (WHO). It provides a forum for Member S
 tates to consider global health priorities\, WHO policies\, programmes\, f
 inancing and governance matters.\nWHO's governing-body documentation confi
 rms that the Eightieth World Health Assembly will open on Sunday\, 23 May 
 2027\, in Geneva and close no later than Sunday\, 30 May 2027.\nRole of th
 e World Health Assembly\nThe World Health Assembly is the decision-making 
 body of WHO. It is attended by delegations from WHO Member States and cons
 iders a health agenda prepared through the WHO governing-body process.\nAm
 ong its principal functions are determining the policies of the Organizati
 on\, appointing the Director-General\, supervising financial policies\, an
 d reviewing and approving the proposed programme budget.\nGlobal Health Po
 licy and Governance\nThe Health Assembly provides a central forum for Memb
 er States to discuss international health priorities and consider resoluti
 ons\, decisions\, reports and other governing-body documentation.\nThe det
 ailed agenda for WHA80 will be developed through the WHO Executive Board a
 nd governing-body process. The final programme should therefore be checked
  against the official WHO documentation as it becomes available.\nProgramm
 e and Sessions\nWHO has not yet published the complete WHA80 daily program

 tablished structure of World Health Assembly sessions\, participants can e
