DESCRIPTION:\nAbout Prague Quadrennial 2027\nPrague Quadrennial 2027 is the
  16th edition of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space\, 
 taking place in Prague from 8–17 June 2027.\nThe Prague Quadrennial is an 
 international event dedicated to scenography\, performance design\, theatr
 e space and related artistic practices. The 2027 edition will bring artist
 s\, designers\, curators\, researchers\, students and audiences together f
 or exhibitions\, installations\, performances\, workshops and discussions.
 \nThe 2027 edition also marks the 60th anniversary of the Prague Quadrenni
 al\, which was founded in 1967.\nTheme: Absences and Silences\nThe theme o
 f Prague Quadrennial 2027 is “Absences and Silences as spaces of potential
  for new scenographic futures.”\nThe theme approaches absence and silence 
 not simply as empty spaces\, but as opportunities for artistic and scenogr
 aphic exploration. PQ invites participants to consider how absence\, silen
 ce\, space\, performance and curatorial practice can generate new ideas an
 d possibilities for the future of scenography.\nScenography and Performanc
 e Design\nPQ understands scenography as an expanded artistic and collabora
 tive practice that can create performative environments and atmospheres bo
 th on and off stage.\nThe field includes interconnected practices such as 
 costume\, lighting\, projection\, sound\, object and spatial design\, all 
 of which contribute to how performance and artistic environments are exper
 ienced.\nExhibitions and Installations\nThe programme includes internation
 al exhibitions and installations presenting contemporary approaches to sce
 nography and performance design.\nParticipating countries and regions will
  present their contemporary scenographic practices as part of the internat
 ional programme.\nPerformances and Live Art\nPrague Quadrennial combines e
 xhibition-based work with live artistic experiences. Performances and inte
 rventions can activate exhibition spaces\, public areas and other parts of
  the Prague Exhibition Grounds.\nPQ 2027 Programme Sections\nThe official 
 PQ 2027 programme is being developed through several interconnected sectio
 ns.\n\nPQ Performance\nPQ Performance Space\nPQ Studio\nPQ Talks\nPQ Publi
 cation Cultures\n\nThese sections create opportunities for performances\, 
 spatial practices\, emerging designers\, conversations\, publications and 
 other forms of scenographic exchange.\nEducation and Emerging Practitioner
 s\nPQ includes opportunities for students\, emerging practitioners and pro
 fessionals to participate in the international scenography community.\nThe
  PQ Studio programme focuses particularly on younger and emerging designer
 s and provides a platform for workshops\, professional exchange and creati
 ve development.\nPQ Talks and Professional Exchange\nPQ Talks and related 
 discussions provide opportunities for artists\, designers\, researchers\, 
 curators and other practitioners to exchange perspectives on scenography\,
  performance design and contemporary cultural practice.\nThe detailed 2027
  programme and individual sessions will be added as the official schedule 
 is published.\nVenue\nPrague Quadrennial 2027 will return to the Prague Ex
 hibition Grounds (Výstaviště Praha) in Prague 7.\nThe programme will activ
 ate much of the exhibition complex\, including the Industrial Palace\, Kři
 žík Pavilions and extensive outdoor areas.\nInternational Participation\nP
 rague Quadrennial brings together artists\, designers\, theorists\, studen
 ts and cultural practitioners from many countries and regions.\nThe intern
 ational character of PQ provides a platform for comparing different scenog
 raphic traditions\, practices and approaches to performance space.\nProgra
 mme and Schedule\nThe official 2027 programme is currently being developed
  and announced progressively by Prague Quadrennial.\nBiskoon will update t

 organized by the Arts and Theatre Institute and is initiated and funded by
